PayPoint

At any PayPoint store, you can buy or renew a licence, make payments on a
TV Licensing payment card, or save towards your next licence with our savings card. You can make payments by debit card or cash.

There are around 28,000 UK PayPoint stores, in places like newsagents, fuel stations and supermarkets. If you need to check disabled access, please call 0330 400 0000.

PayPoint is not available in the Channel Islands or Isle of Man, but you can pay at your local post office.

What you can do at PayPoint

Buy a new TV Licence

Give the retailer your name and address, and pay the full licence fee by debit card or cash. They’ll enter your details onto our database and give you a receipt. Please keep this, as it is proof of your licence. We won’t send you a separate TV Licence if you pay at PayPoint. However, you can view your licence any time online.

Renew a licence

Show the retailer your renewal letter, and pay the full licence fee by debit card or cash. They’ll give you a receipt and a payment slip. Please keep these, as they are proof of your licence. We won’t send you a separate TV Licence if you renew at PayPoint. However, you can view your licence any time online.

Pay with your TV Licensing payment card

Take your TV Licensing payment card to the retailer and pay by debit card or cash. To apply for a TV Licensing payment card, apply online or please call 0300 555 0286*.

Deposit savings on your TV Licensing savings card

Take your TV Licensing savings card to the retailer and deposit your savings with a debit card or cash. Please keep the receipt they’ll give you as proof of your deposit. To apply for a savings card please call 0300 555 0281*.
