Do I need an application form to buy a new TV Licence?

You don't need an application form if you buy a TV Licence online or by phone.

If you are renewing your TV Licence at a PayPoint store, you must take your reminder document with you. If you are buying a new full fee colour TV Licence (i.e. not renewing) at a PayPoint store you will not require an application form.

For all other types of new licence purchases at a PayPoint store, you will need an application form. Please Contact us and ask us to send you an application form. You will need to tell us your name, address and what type of licence you require. For example blind or black and white TV Licence. We will then send you an application form which you must take with you to a PayPoint store.
