Your TV Licence lets your patients and staff enjoy a huge range of TV. It covers you for:

• All TV channels, like BBC, ITV, Channel 4, U&Dave and international channels
• Pay TV services, like Sky, Virgin Media and EE TV
• Live TV on streaming services, like YouTube and Amazon Prime Video
• Everything on BBC iPlayer.

This includes recording and downloading. On any device.

You need a TV Licence for

The hospital premises

This includes communal areas, waiting rooms, the wards (including private rooms) and staff rooms.

You need separate TV Licences for

Residential accommodation

e.g. Rooms for doctors and nurses.

Welfare or social clubs

If these are on hospital premises and are run independently of the hospital.

Other businesses or organisations

If the premises are sublet by the hospital.

Please call 0300 790 6165* if you’re a hospital manager and need to buy more than one TV Licence to cover your hospital.
