For a single property such as a shop or office, you'll only need one TV Licence. If your business has more than one address, you may need multiple licences or a Company Group TV Licence.

You can sign into your TV Licence online to check your business is covered. All you need is your TV Licence number, last name and postcode on your licence.
Don't know your licence number?
The simplest way to license more than one property is with a Company Group TV Licence. You only need to make one annual payment for all the properties you want to cover and you’ll receive a reminder when your licence is due for renewal.

A single TV Licence costs £169.50. You can pay in one go or spread the cost quarterly, monthly or weekly.

We don’t provide invoices or bills, unfortunately, but one of the following should be suitable as a record of your expense:
If you have already paid for a licence, then it will always be available online. Simply sign in using the licence number, name and postcode on the licence. You’ll then see the total cost and expiry date of your TV Licence.
Don't know your licence number?
If we’ve sent you a letter about buying or renewing a licence, it will show the total amount to be paid and explain the purpose of the licence. Find out more about what a TV Licence covers and if you need it.
If you pay for your TV Licence online, we will send you an email confirming the payment and your licence number.
You can update the address, contact details and name on the TV Licence by signing in online. You can let us know your new address up to three months before you move.

To sign in to a business licence, please use the name or job title (e.g. ‘The Manager’) on your licence. Please type this into the 'last name' field.
